About the Ly Nhan village school?
A small village boarding school for children from 1-5 years old. The school has some 50 children and 5 staff all coming from the local village with limited experience in training children. The fund to run the school is mainly from parents who are living on farming. Many families refuse to take their children to school due to the contribution to the school (a few dollars/a pupil/a month). The school has been in very poor condition for years with roof-leaking classrooms, cracked walls, no kitchen and proper toilets. Most of food for meals come from self-planted garden in school garden. |
