A short hiking trail along the Klaus Kurki Road where Klaus Kurki met his fate. Tuhnunvuori 'Devils Mountain'

This short hiking trail is one of the 16 historic attractions along the Klaus Kurki road tour. An interesting place where Klaus Kurki in the ballad The death of Elina, drives his silver pieced golden chariot off the cliff at Tuhnunvuori Devils Mountain.

At the end of this short hiking trail you will find a quiet place to rest and have your lunch. Walking to the 30 meter drop-off off takes about 15 minutes from beginning to end.

Turning toward the right of this outdoor open picnic spot, there is another view of the cliff at closer proximity. A second view of the cliff where Klaus Kurki drove his chariot off. - Remembering that In the story...

As you begin hiking back on the same trail, this is what the wooded areas looks like from the lower area. The lower more narrow trail is steep and not recommended for very small children, unless you want to carry them.
